What is WorkOrbit?
WorkOrbit is a workforce intelligence platform. It captures attendance, working time and desktop activity, then turns that data into productivity, utilisation and performance analytics for managers, HR and executives. Pricing starts at $4 per user per month, with Starter, Growth and Enterprise editions that can be mixed in one company.
What is a workforce intelligence platform?
A workforce intelligence platform collects work activity data (attendance, working hours, application usage and activity levels) and converts it into analytics on productivity, utilisation and capacity. The point is not the raw data but the decisions it supports: staffing, workload balance, coaching and process improvement.
How is workforce intelligence different from employee monitoring?
Employee monitoring describes capturing activity. Workforce intelligence describes analysing it. WorkOrbit includes monitoring capability, but capture settings are configurable, access to individual detail is role-limited, and the platform is designed to be disclosed to employees and used for measurement rather than surveillance.
Can WorkOrbit support remote and hybrid teams?
Yes. The desktop agent runs on Windows and macOS, keeps recording offline and syncs when the device reconnects, so office, remote and hybrid employees are measured on the same basis and appear in the same reports.
What workforce metrics can businesses track?
Working hours, attendance and punctuality, productive time, idle and active time, application and website usage by productivity category, and team or department comparisons over any date range, all exportable for reviews, billing and capacity planning.
